Anouk with Lost on # 1 in Denmark!

After Norway now also Denmark fell in love with the Anouk-song “Lost”.
The hit-song can be found on the # 1 spot of the iTunes download chart!

The song gained in popularity after it was sung by a candidate during an audition on the Danish X-factor. Since then the original version of the single has been downloaded heavily and is being played on Danish radio.

ANOUK TOGETHER WITH ALL HER DIFFERENT BAND-MEMBERS IN GELREDOME

This morning Anouk confirmed in a interview on Dutch radio that she will be performing with all her band-members from 4 different bands that she has performed with in the past 15 years. This special concert will happen on the 8th and 11th of March, there are still some tickets left for both shows!

In the past 15 years Anouk has been on tour with 4 different bands. During the concerts in the GelreDome stadium a total of 18 musicians and 3 backing vocalist will be performing with the Dutch singer. Anouk will be accompanied by seven guitar players, four drummers, four bass players, three key players and three backing vocalists.

Anouk: “It’s basically all the bands I have supposedly have “fired” which has been so well documented in the media in the past years. All of the musicians will be playing on stages throughout GelreDome. I absolutely love it that these guys are all gonna come and play. They all said yes without any doubts, everybody is really looking forward to it.”

ANOUK LIVE IN GELREDOME STADIUM ON SUNDAY MARCH 11TH!

After performing at several festivals in The Netherlands & Belgium during the past year, Anouk will kick off 2012 with a massive performance in Arnhem. On Sunday the 11th of March the Dutch singer will give a concert at the “GelreDome” Stadium. This will be the last Stadium concert of Anouk for a long period. Ticket sales start this Friday @ 10:00 GMT+2.

Earlier this year Anouk released her album “To Get Her Together”. Prior to release the song “Killer Bee” was uploaded as a preview on Youtube. After that the first official single “Down and Dirty” became an instant hit. Anouk has seven studio albums to her name which almost all got to the number 1 position in the Benelux album charts.

Anouk has performed at many different venues and festivals in the past 15 years. All of which became sold-out year after year. Recently Anouk decided to stop performing as much as she has done for an indefinite period after the summer of 2012

Anouk: “I want to be more at home and in the studio. That suits me well and I feel at my best there. My passion is now more in the creation of music then performing it live. In the long run, I will once again perform live, but I think after the GelreDome concert; I won’t be doing a stadium show anytime soon.

The concert in Arnhem bears the title of her most recent album, “To Get Her Together”.
Besides new songs Anouk will be performing her biggest hits.

Anouk has suspended her Twitter account. On Facebook she emphasizes that there are now a lot of fake accounts emerging using her name. All these accounts are fake and can be ignored. Anouk won’t be coming back on Twitter:

Twitter…..not for me anymore. I’ve closed my account yesterday. I’ve NOT been hacked, just didn’t feel like it anymore. And I won’t be back, ever. SO ANY OTHER ACCOUNT IS A FAKE ACCOUNT!!
